Kaden Turns *2* !!!

Last Friday, the 25th, Kaden had his 2nd birthday!! Kelsey was so excited all week for his birthday to arrive. "Only 4 more days, Kaden, and you will be two...., Only 3 more days....,Only 2 more days,.... Kaden TODAY is your birthday!!!!" Very sweet. Another one of the many pluses of having "children" vs. "a child". :-)

His one request was a "pink pig cake". Not sure where/when he started saying that but that was what he wanted. Thanks to a small picture I found in one of his books I was able to grant that request.

Why are toys these days triple secured to the packaging??

Khara made a very sweet card for Kaden and even gave him some of the money fr0m her piggy bank. :-)

A lady from church heard Kaden say he wanted a pink pig cake and went all out trying to find him gifts to match that theme. A stuffed dancing pig and the Pink Ty Beanie Baby Pig- Silkie. Very sweet and thoughtful.

Awe! Looks like a fun time. I can't believe how big he looks in these pictures! Love the cake too! I have something for him, but obviously haven't been able to get to the post office yet.

He is SUCH a CUTIE! I love his eyes...looks like a little bit of mischief there! Very cute cake too. They want the funniest things sometimes, don't they? Michael's about ready to have his 5th birthday, and every other day, he wants a different cake. So funny. I've already put the order in, so hope he's still into dinosaurs by the time the day finally rolls around! lol! The problem is, recently we received a big magazine from some birthday party supplier...hence all the changing of mind!

He's exactly one day older than Kent! We had to make his party pretty small this year because of big brother's kindergarten graduation, but we did train stuff for him.

Sniff, sniff. I used to have a little guy who adored pigs. Now he asks for Star Wars Legos. Yep, I've even done the pig cake, but mine was round with a pink Hostess snowball for the nose (it was just a pig face).

Tomorrow, I have pigs who are looking for new homes...sigh...maybe Angie's boys will get attached and decided they MUST have one.
