Last Saturday night we enjoyed a fun evening at the Springfield Cardinals. It was designated as El Dorado Springs night. A local doctor threw the first pitch, an ElDo senior sang the National Anthem, our dental assistant carried out the flag, and we were surrounded by "ElDoradians". We all really enjoy watching baseball (actually, the kids probably enjoy all of the "seat vendors", cotton candy, popcorn, sno cones...that would make a child happy) anyway, Mark and I enjoy watching baseball and having seats on the 10th row made that even better. :-)
The girls got a quick picture with one of the Corpus Christi players.
Kaden was not impressed with this Cardinal.
Happy little girls!!!!

Glad you all had fun! Your kids are soo cute!
I was wondering what made you choose the spelling of Khara? Was it just something different or was there a reason? I love the name and I've never seen it spelled that way and I like that too. My sister's name is spelled differently it is Meaghan. I've only ever seen it that way a few times. We have different biological parents (Meaghan was adopted by my dad she was his step child) and her mom did it because she didn't want her called Meg.
Hey Les-
Thanks for the comment!! :-) About Khara's name- before she was born I had been going over all the names- Emily, Brooklyn, Breann,...then one day saw this name in a newspaper and-love at first "spelling". :-) I think the "h" makes it special.
Jana, I enjoyed your pictures. Looks like your kids had a good time at the game, except for when the Cardinal came around!
Looks fun! I love summer baseball games.
Looks like lots of fun. BTW, I LOVE the girls matching dresses! They just have the "summertime", American look! I feel sorry for Kaden.... Michael used to be scared of anything dressed up. I think he FINALLY realizes it's just an ordinary person under the costume! Aren't kids funny!!
Enjoyed the fun pics...sure that you have a fun night! My kids would be enjoying the "sweet" vendors too! =) That's neat that so many of your towns people helped in the game that night.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend in Jesus,
Love, Heather =)
Neat! El Do night would be really fun. Ya'll need to come back for a Reds game.
