Well, to say the least I wasn't quite as excited about it as she was. Sounded like another parent project to say the least. :-) Growing up, my dad usually helped us with things like that so, I told her to ask Mark about it when he got home. Let's just say he was not impressed with this teachers methods. He made some excuse about not being creative. :-)
Saturday evening, Mark headed to a ball game, Karson took a nap, and Khara and I plunged in. Khara LOVES hands on activities like this and was so excited to be working on it.
About an hour later the project was complete. She was one happy girl and I was one relieved mama.
Now, I wonder what grade we'll get. ;-)

That is SUCH a creative idea - I'm sure that cupid will certainly be trapped!! :-)
How cute! You are so creative. I'm sure she will get a top grade for that.
Very very cute! Great job.
Haha! I always feel sorry for the students whose parents are not "involved" for whatever reason...they probably end up with a low grade, and it's not even their fault! Khara's project looks great...thanks to the guidance of an "involved" mommy! Good job!!!
That's great! I'd say you are very creative, indeed! I just saw your mother-in-law last week at the Women of Worth Tea here in FL, and was telling her how much I enjoy your blog...always creative ideas!
