Mark found out yesterday something that made a little 6-year old boy very happy!!! Kaden was able to go on his first youth deer hunt today. Mark had been thinking that 7 was the "Conservation Correct Age"--nope, 6 year-olds get to try it. Anyway... they left bright and early this morning. Came back several hours later, unsuccessful. They went out again this afternoon and after about 3 minutes in the tree stand, Kaden shot his first buck. To say he was thrilled is probably an understatement!! :-)

Kendall was looking for these last night. :) SO neat Kaden got his 1st deer. Kendall would have loved to been out there with ya'll.

Awesome! So happy for Kaden. Love his expression on the phone too. I can't believe he got one at 6 yrs old! Clayton was a little worried at first that a "reindeer had a crack and died", but I convinced him that it was OK. :-) Then, he said he wanted to go out there and try it sometime. I said, "That would be great!" :-)
Conggrats!!! I too love his expression when he's calling his grandpa!
